The Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic) is a standardised English test assessing English proficiency in listening, reading, writing and speaking with the score ranging from 10 to 90. It's the leading computer-based test of English conducted at a secure test centre, supervised and marked by Pearson Education. PTE Academic is a globally recognised test with more than 130 countries and 9000 institutions including Havard, Standford and Yale accepting PTE as a criterion for enrollment and visa application.
The test is officially recognised as an equivalent to IELTS (https://ielts.com.au/about-us/convert-ielts-to-pte-test-score/).

Upon graduation, I was also was awarded with the Golden Key Certificate by Golden Key International Honor Society. Membership into Golden Key is by invitation only and applies to the top 15% of top-performing graduate students in all fields of study, based solely on their outstanding scholastic achievement and excellence.

As an academic coach and teacher mentor working for SonTa Foundation in the Free high-quality English Courses project for people in difficult circumstances including Vietnam, Kenya and Tanzania, my main responsibilities include:
Providing training courses to volunteer teachers recruited by the organisation in different countries;
Reviewing proposed placement tests, lesson plans and course syllabi for the program.

AIESEC is an international non-governmental and not-for-profit organization focuses on empowering young people to make a progressive social impact. The AIESEC network spreads over 120 countries around the globe.
In the Sawadee Thailand Project 28 conducted by AIESEC Thailand in association with AIESEC Global, I had an opportunity to become an ESL teacher teaching underprivileged children in a secluded village in Thailand for 2 months. It was an amazing experience. Although local people including students and teachers of the village could not speak English, with my basic Thai that I learned on my own during that time, I managed to effectively liaise with local teachers and teach Thai children of different ages.
My main responsibilities included:
Planning everyday lessons and language activities for pre-school to middle school aged students;
Drawing up in-class and extra curricula for students to learn from language lessons and apply them to planned outdoor activities.

This Gold certificate was awarded to recognise student mentors who in their voluntary leadership role have made valuable contributions to RMIT students’ academic improvement for 3 semesters.
