Vietnam IELTS Community - VIC
Co-founder
In 2018, I co-founded Vietnam IELTS Community, a non-profit organisation that aims to create an environment in which people from all walks of life, students and working people alike gather to practice their English speaking in a structured and guided manner. Participants are closely supported by our hosts who are experienced IELTS test takers and have achieved from 7.5 to 8.5 in IELTS.
It is my responsibility at VIC to oversee daily operations including training new recruits, coordinating weekly planning and reviewing materials with the aim to ensure a helpful and academic environment for all participants.

PTE and IELTS trainer
in Australia and Vietnam
When I achieved my first band 8.0 in the IELTS test and scored 87 with PTE, I thought to myself it would be so fulfilling if I could help people by sharing my own knowledge and the experience that could help them overcome their struggle in those tests. I started to look for people who needed guidance for their test preparation and offered free one-on-one tutoring sessions. That early interest of mine in teaching and helping others has developed into an abiding passion that has constantly urged me to work even harder every single day to improve myself and be more helpful to my students.
For more than 7 years of studying and teaching in Australia and Vietnam, I have helped many people achieve their academic goals and their desired band scores in both IELTS and PTE tests.

Vuong Tron Giac
Design & Creative Hub
Course Coordinator of Art & Creativity
In early 2018, Vuong Tron Giac contacted me and they expressed their keen interest in having an Art program in English for Vietnamese children. I was commissioned to write and develop the course.
In March 2018, we initiated a project named “HeART”. “HeART” is a three-month Australian-based program tailored for school-aged children from 6 to 14 and it is designed to enhance children’s natural abilities while helping them to express themselves and build skills in a wide variety arts from painting, mask-making, drawing, and decoupage, to sculpture, clay work, papier mâché, print-making. Each lesson of the program provides pupils with a playful touch on art history, art concept, artistic techniques, methods and everything is incorporated to producing their own works of art which they and their parents can be proud of.
In the first year of operation, I was responsible for laying the foundation of the course by developing and delivering the course as well as providing training sessions for new recruits.

AIESEC Thailand
ESL teacher in Thailand
AIESEC is an international non-governmental and not-for-profit organization which focuses on empowering young people to make a progressive social impact. The AIESEC network spreads over 120 countries around the globe.
In the Sawadee Thailand Project 28 conducted by AIESEC Thailand in association with AIESEC Global, I had an amazing opportunity to take on new challenges as an ESL teacher — teaching underprivileged children in a secluded village of Thailand for 2 months. It was an experience of a lifetime. Although local students and teachers of the village could not speak English, with my basic Thai that I learned by myself during that time, I managed to effectively liaise with local teachers and teach Thai children of different ages from preschool to primary school aged children.
My main responsibilities include:
Planning everyday lessons and language activities for pre-school to middle school aged students.
Delivering in-class and extra curricula and helping students to apply what they have learned from language lessons to outdoor activities.
2018
AIESEC Global

Upon completion of the Sawadee Project in Thailand, I was chosen and recognised as a global volunteer in the Leadership Development Experience program — a movement of AIESEC Global aiming to tackle the Sustainable Development Goal Quality Education.
